Women in Need
The Livia Stoyke Foundation (LSF) fully understands that women are strong and powerful. In order to foster a greater role for women in our community, the LSF is currently focusing on creating and supporting programs, which offer women, who are facing great adversity, a chance to build up their own sense of self-worth. It is amazing to see what changes these women make in their own lives and in the lives of others once they become aware of how strong they really are.

Charitable Giving
(New) The LSF is now supporting a Health for Two (H42) program that provides first-aid /infant CPR training for disadvantaged new moms. These courses are offered by the Edmonton-based Bonnie Doon Community Health Centre, which also operates a Prenatal Nutrition program. To all our donors, thank you for helping us support this worthwhile cause.
Based on our very successful Spin Around the Clock fundraiser in 2008 at the Edmonton Home and Garden Show, the LSF provided funding to the Youth Emergency Shelter (YES), the Edmonton Women's Shelter (WIN House), and the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS). The LSF was also proud to donate to the Ryan's Well Foundation spearheaded by Finn Case, a 6-year old from Garneau School. Ryan's Well funds the drilling of wells to provide clean water to impoverished villages in Africa.
