| Wild World Program | |
| A program that provides nature studies for disadvantaged children. It helps children respect and understand nature and gives them an opportunity to interact with a variety of other children resulting in new friendships and happy memories. | |
| Our first Wild World day was a complete success. 48 children from a local Edmonton school, which is affliated with Big Sisters and Big Brothers, visited the Devonian Botanic Gardens for a wonderful afternoon of learning and fun. Seven naturalists from the Botanic Gardens kindly donated their time to provide the children tours of the facility. | |
| "Thank you so much for giving our students the opportunity," comment made by the assistant prinicipal of the school. | |
